A genuine kitchen transformation
This project shows how a sound existing kitchen can be visually transformed without replacing every cabinet. The original timber-effect doors, drawer fronts and fixed units were retained and refinished in a modern grey coating system.
A kitchen respray is not only the final colour. The work depends on identifying each component, cleaning cooking residues, preparing the substrate, repairing suitable imperfections, priming correctly and protecting the worktops, appliances, walls and floors.
The separate before and after photographs show the actual change. Differences in lighting and camera position are natural; no digital colour replacement has been used to represent the finished cabinetry.

What a professional respray involves
